Join us to build a healthcare infrastructure that delivers reassurance to Japanese people worldwide.
We strive every day to ensure Japanese people living abroad can receive care that lets them truly feel, “I’ll be okay.” Our mission is to imagine the anxieties and circumstances behind each patient’s symptoms—and provide care that stands with them.
Turn your experience and passion into peace of mind for people around the world.
Philosophy & Mission
Mission
We continuously create heart‑centered care.
We value imagining and embracing not only symptoms but also the anxieties and circumstances people feel while living abroad. Our mission is not merely to deliver treatment, but to keep creating places where people can genuinely feel, “I’ll be okay here.”
Statement
Listen with the heart. Stay even closer.
We stand with unspoken worries and strive to understand those feelings. We accept expressions and silence alike, listening for messages beyond words. We imagine each person’s circumstances and act from their point of view.
Way
We focus on feelings—not just symptoms.
Before expertise, be trusted as a person.
One team across roles and nationalities.
Rooted in three core attitudes—compassion, integrity, and flexibility—we foster a culture centered on the spirit of omotenashi (wholehearted hospitality).
Message from the President
Since launching in January 2023, ATIV Medical has expanded to 15 locations across 5 countries.
What fuels this rapid growth is our unwavering commitment to stand with each patient’s feelings and deliver reassurance.
For Japanese people overseas, language barriers and unfamiliar systems can be significant obstacles. Turning “unknown anxieties” into “understood reassurance” is our mission.
Specialized knowledge is certainly important.
However, we seek individuals who can offer more—those who are trustworthy as human beings, who embody a spirit of hospitality, and who truly empathize with the feelings of our patients.
If you are someone who never settles for the status quo, who constantly asks, “What is the best approach right now?”, who enjoys new challenges, and who can adapt flexibly to change—then let’s work together to build a future where Japanese people around the world feel safe and supported.

Global Expansion Plan

What We Value
We work as one team beyond nationalities and roles, supporting each other with a spirit of harmony. We also leverage digital technology to maximize the patient experience.

Meaningful Work
We find great fulfillment when we identify and address the root causes of patients’ anxieties about healthcare.
Rather than simply offering a product or procedure, we seek to understand each person’s situation deeply and pursue what is truly best for them.
Hearing “I feel reassured now” is the greatest reward.
Why I Decided to Change Jobs
In my previous role, I worked to expand Japanese medical devices overseas, but had few opportunities to hear directly from Japanese people receiving care locally.
I felt a gap between what we provided and what patients actually needed.
I strongly resonated with ATIV Medical’s vision to deliver care that makes Japanese people living overseas genuinely feel “I’ll be okay,” and decided to make the move.
Future Goals
In the future, I want ATIV Medical to be recognized globally as “the clinic that gives Japanese people peace of mind wherever they are.”
To achieve that, I will continue listening to patients and providing ever-better services.

Meaningful Work
I feel the greatest achievement when a diverse team collaborates with a spirit of harmony to deliver outstanding care.
Seeing patients leave the clinic without anxiety and with a smile makes me truly grateful for this team.
Why I Decided to Change Jobs
I wanted to apply the omotenashi mindset I developed in elderly care to the medical field, where we deal directly with people’s lives and health.
I resonated deeply with ATIV Medical’s philosophy of respecting everyone and delivering trusted care, and sought work with higher social impact.
Future Goals
To make each location a trusted hub that provides the best omotenashi-driven care rooted in its community.
By growing ourselves, I hope to help ATIV Medical establish itself as a global healthcare infrastructure.

Meaningful Work
Standing between patients—who feel anxious due to differences in language, culture, and healthcare systems—and physicians, we convey not only accurate information but also the emotional nuances.
The moment patients truly feel relieved is incomparable.
Why I Decided to Change Jobs
I previously worked as a pharmacist in a dispensing pharmacy.
I resonated with ATIV Medical’s philosophy of “not only treating symptoms but also standing with each patient’s feelings.” I wanted to work where I could engage more deeply with each person and provide total support, so I made the move.
What I Focus on at Work
Active listening and proactive care.
I sense unspoken anxieties and questions from facial expressions and tone of voice, accurately convey them to doctors, and help ensure patients can receive care with peace of mind.
Future Goals
I aim to help raise the quality of medical interpretation across locations and serve as a bridge that delivers care where Japanese people can genuinely feel reassured anywhere in the world.

Meaningful Work
By streamlining cashless services under overseas travel insurance and local medical billing procedures, we reduce patients’ financial and mental burdens.
Hearing “you really helped me” reminds me why this work matters.
Why I Decided to Change Jobs
Previously I supported international patients.
Japanese patients, in particular, often feel strong anxiety around insurance coverage due to language and system differences.
ATIV Medical’s cashless insurance support addresses this issue directly, and I decided to move here to support Japanese patients more deeply.
Future Goals
As ATIV Medical expands globally, we will strengthen our insurance administration support so that Japanese patients worldwide can access care with peace of mind—no matter where they are.
